CHARITY DONATIONS

Giving back to organizations we hold near and dear to our political hearts is a very important part of what we do here at Lulu Organics.  We care first and foremost about the health of all humans and the health of this planet and we are proud fiscal supporters of the following organizations:

Planned Parenthood—Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides reproductive health services both in the United States and globally.

Sierra Club—Founded by legendary conservationist John Muir in 1892, the Sierra Club is now the nation's largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization—with more than two million members and supporters. Our successes range from protecting millions of acres of wilderness to helping pass the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Endangered Species Act. More recently, we've made history by leading the charge to move away from the dirty fossil fuels that cause climate disruption and toward a clean energy economy.

The American Civil Liberties Union—ACLU is a nonpartisan, non-profit, organization whose stated mission is "to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States."

Southern Poverty Law Center—The Southern Poverty Law Center is dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society. Using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy, the SPLC works toward the day when the ideals of equal justice and equal opportunity will be a reality.

Natural Resources Defense Council—NRDC works to safeguard the earth—its people, its plants and animals, and the natural systems on which all life depends.

Minnesota Public Radio—MPR is a public radio network for the state of Minnesota. With its three services, News & Information, Classical Music and The Current, MPR operates a 44-station regional radio network in the upper Midwest serving over 9 million people. MPR has 127,150 members and more than one million listeners each week, the largest audience of any regional public radio network.

The Public Broadcasting System—PBS is an American public broadcaster and television program distributor. Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, PBS is an independently operated non-profit organization and is the most prominent provider of television programming to public television stations in the United States. PBS is funded by member station dues, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, government agencies, corporations, foundations and individual citizens. All proposed funding is subjected to a set of standards to ensure the program is free of influence from the funding source.
