Nerve Tea For Depression

Posted by Linda Aldredge on

In this time of great uncertainty, I felt it would be a good time to post my very favorite Nervine Tea. Some of us are feeling despair for our future, some of us feeling anger, depression and anxiety but whatever you're feeling it's important to nourish your nervous system and strengthen it for the times ahead.

Rosemary Gladstar is a beacon of light in the herbal community and a personal hero of mine. She's the founder of the California School of Herbal Studies, co-founder of Sage Mountain Herbs and the founder of United Plant Savers—among so many other things! And she is also the creator of this Nervine Tea for Depression. You can find this recipe is her book Rosemary Gladstar's Herbal Recipes for Vibrant Health, which if you don't have, you should buy immediately.

I make this for friends going through any type of hard time—mental or physical. I have even made it for friends who are trying to quit smoking (and they've been known to smoke it!) However you use it, it will definitely help soothe your tattered nerves.
